FAQ

Can we just turn up on the day?

To ensure accuracy of lunch bookings, we are able to take bookings up to 48 hour prior to departure – subject to availability.

How do we find you at the meeting area?

The standard meeting point for tours is at the Warragul railway station, however, arrangements can be made for alternate pick up locations if required. We are in a white bus with the Into the Country Tours logo on it.

Can you tell us where the tours go?

Please phone the office directly to enquire about tour routes. Due to seasonality and access to properties the tours can vary.

Can I pay by cheque?

Yes, advanced payment can be made by cheque and direct deposit, credit card payments to be made via the website – please contact the Office directly for details and to confirm tour availability.

Is there much walking?

There is very little walking required. Our bus will take you to each location, however, with some gravel paths along the way, heels are not advised.

If I have accessibility concerns what should I do?

We are happy to discuss with you what limitations and what opportunities there are for accessibility needs. We may need to adapt a tour where suitable or create a private tour plan for you. Please always ask prior to booking, to avoid disappointment on the day.

Do you pick up from our hotel?

We provide local pick up in the Drouin and Warragul area, however, this will need to be organised at least 48hrs prior to the tour so that pick up location and time can be arranged.

Can I do a tour outside of the dates listed on the website?

We can organise a private tour to suit your time schedule – please contact us directly to confirm availability and pricing scales.

We have a group , but don't want to put the full booking on one credit card - can we pay on the day?

What happens if we are not able make it on the day?

If you’re not able to make it on the day – please advise us directly by phoning the Office on 0430 150 990. Travel insurance is always advisable. To review our booking Terms and Conditions, including cancellation please see our terms and conditions page. Please note that due to the need to book ahead with our suppliers there are no refunds within 48 hours of a tour date booking.

Do we get to choose where we go?

For all our scheduled tours we choose a predetermine route, but for private tours we work with you to tailor your unique tour within our regional area.

Are children allowed on the tours?

We do not have children’s pricing. Our tours are suitable for anyone between 16 – 80 years of age. Participants under the age of 18 are to be supervised at all times by a parent or guardian. We do not charge for Children 2 and under. However we do stipulate that prams are not suitable due to accessibility constraints at some of the properties we visit. The legal alcohol drinking age in Victoria is 18 years. We can certainly arrange a private tour for families. What languages are the tours conducted in?

Tours are conducted in English. Our tour hosts are local, with English as their only language.

Do you have a newsletter?

To receive our newsletter please click the subscribe button at the bottom of every page on our site.

How do I redeem a gift voucher?

When you purchase a gift voucher we send you a discount code to be used on any of our tours forms (except for private tours). Simply enter the code into the coupon field and no credit card info will be required.
